New immigration measures to be set out in bill

Thu, 21 May 2015

Measures in an Immigration Bill, to be published in the Queen's speech on 27 May 2015, will include provisions to tag foreign criminals awaiting deportation and prosecute companies that seek to recruit abroad before looking to employ British workers. Rights of appeal against removal will be restricted so that those wanting to challenge a ruling will be required to do so from the country to which they have been deported.
