Application for injunction to prevent pilots' strike action - British Airways Plc v British Airline Pilots' Association [CA] 01.08.19 (Unreported)

Mon, 05 Aug 2019

The High Court had been right to decline to grant an injunction preventing a pilots' trade union from taking strike action against British Airways, as the ballot notice had complied with the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 s.226A in detailing the number of pilots to be balloted according to their rank, and there was no statutory obligation requiring the union to use any particular category of jobs.
