Fair labour mobility: Commission welcomes agreement on the European Labour Authority

The European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council have reached a provisional agreement on the Commission's proposal to establish a European Labour Authority. It will support fair labour mobility within the EU, allowing citizens and businesses to seize the opportunities offered by the single market while supporting cooperation between national authorities, including in preventing and tackling social fraud and abuse.
