Lecturer not discriminated against for disavowing political correctness

University lecturer Dr Andrew Dunn had no legal right to defy political correctness an employment tribunal has ruled. Mr Dunn, a Ukip branch chair, was disciplined and then dismissed from his position at Lincoln University. He said his views in "Rethinking Unemployment and the Work Ethic" were unfashionable and criticised by work colleagues and that over the following two years he had further disputes with colleagues. His argument that his right to disavow political correctness should be protected under the Equality Act 2010 was rejected.
