Business Minister urges UK's largest companies to increase transparency around workplace diversity

As the Business Diversity and Inclusion Group, set up to coordinate action to increase diversity and inclusion in the workplace, met for the first time, the Business Minister Margot James urged the UK's largest companies to increase transparency around their diversity policies and targets. It was also announced that the Financial Reporting Council will consider the Government's proposals for listed companies and diversity as part of its review of the UK Corporate Governance Code.
