Scottish Government produces guide to employment of children - Employment of Children: A Guide for Children

This guide aims to help children between the age of 13 and school leaving age who might want a part-time job to have some financial independence, and to gain experience of employment. It covers the types of work that children can do, as well as procedures and regulations around the hours of work. The guide has been prepared by Clan Childlaw in partnership with the Scottish Government.
