A manager's comment to a secretary, Marion Konczak, who had complained that she had been bullied and harassed, including sexually, that "women take things more emotionally than men" will cost BAE Systems more than £360,000, following a dispute that has led to eight tribunal hearings, after appeal court judges found that the remark had led to her having a mental breakdown and being dismissed from her £22,000-a-year job in July 2007.
