Asda's female staff allowed to sue for equal pay

An employment tribunal has decided that more than 7,000, mostly female, store workers employed by Asda, can compare their jobs with male employees in the company's distribution stores. The ruling may result in the UK's largest private sector equal pay claim and Asda may require to backdate compensation to 2002.
