Employment legislation – Territorial application - Equality Act 2010 Pt.5. HELD that the legislation should not be regarded as having a wider territorial reach than the provisions relating to unfair dismissal in the Employment Rights Act 1996. The provisions governing discrimination in relation to employee benefits in s.39(2) of the 2010 Act did not apply to locally employed staff working for the British Forces in Afghanistan.
