Builders who were blacklisted win £10m payout

Trade union Unite has announced that it has reached a settlement with construction companies which will see 256 construction workers who were blacklisted by firms for union activities in 2009 receive more than £10 million between them in compensation, with payouts ranging from £25,000 to £200,000 per claimant, depending on factors including loss of income and the seriousness of the defamation.
